Buyer Beware Using eBay for Out-of-the-Country Purchases as eBay’s Protection and Help Was Utterly Worthless For Me, and It Could Happen To You!

I created this website to warn others about the risk they take using eBay to purchase items out-of-the country. I thought I was protected buying using eBay for an over $4000 purchase, but instead eBay did not protect me or really help me to receive my item nor will eBay refund my money to me for an item not received with a seller not cooperating to help me obtain it or resend it to me with me paying for said shipping. The seller sent my item, but did not contact me with a way to pay customs fees. My item was returned to the seller. I contacted the seller for help and let the seller know I was never contacted to pay by the seller or carrier. No response from the seller. I contacted eBay for help. I was told I was at fault for not paying customs by eBay and I should have contacted the shipper. I told them the seller never provided the information to pay and I never was contacted to my knowledge by the shipper. It did not matter to eBay. I am adding photos to show what occurred and the lack of support I received as a eBay buyer.
